You can start a dispute only when the item has been marked as shipped and a deposit has been made. Simply press the start dispute button and a dispute has been filed. If you selected a specific judge, the judge will rule on your case. Otherwise we will review your case and make a decision on who is at fault. If at any time you want to end the dispute you can do that by simply pressing end dispute on the transaction status page.
